Is there any reason that slotted heads are not seen on 14 fret guitars

In the words of Charlie Wilson "Tradition, I suppose."

Honestly, I can't think of a reason other than that.

The only structural reason I could think of would possibly be the narrower string spacing on D's and such, leading to a too-narrow space between the slots, but I don't think there is any structural reason if the slot layout is normal.

I saw a slotted head Martin 12 string in a history of acoustic guitar book.

I love the look of slotted head guitars. I have a twelve string thats slotted and I love it. But I hate it when it comes to restringing. What a pain compared to standard tunning gears.
